Ottawa, ONTARIO — Scientific advances, new opportunities and outstanding networking — these are just a few of the many reasons animal feed and nutrition professionals should attend the latest edition of Canada's foremost animal nutrition conference.
The 5th annual Animal Nutrition Conference of Canada (ANCC), May 10-14, 2021, will provide unique opportunities for attendees to learn, share and network in an interactive digital environment that closely mirrors the traditional in-person event. To accommodate all participants, simultaneous presentations will be offered in both English and French.
Feeding the Future
Themed “Feeding the Future: Precision Nutrition for Tomorrow’s Animal”, the conference is hosted by the Animal Nutrition Association of Canada (ANAC), the national trade association for Canada’s feed industry. Those who have not done so already are encouraged to register as soon as possible at www.animalnutritionconference.ca to secure their spot at this year’s event.
"We are looking forward to bringing together colleagues from across Canada and beyond to join in our robust scientific forum," says Holly McGill of Wallenstein Feed & Supply, ANCC Program Chair. "This year’s conference examines innovative developments in precision nutrition, a growing trend creating numerous opportunities for the livestock sector. The 2021 program offers something for everyone in animal feed and nutrition, including new insights to help meet challenges and optimize results in today's evolving production landscape."
Learn, share, network
The ANCC features highly respected speakers from across Canada and around the world, discussing topics shaping the future of the feed industry. The multi-species, scientific program features a wealth of knowledge delivered by leading experts across different disciplines. The ANCC will also showcase industry partners and graduate student research from across Canada. Virtual exhibit halls and networking opportunities are available throughout the conference.
"This conference is known not only for delivering a strong educational component but also for providing an opportunity to engage with people representing all facets of the animal feed industry in one place. The unique interactive platform selected for ANCC 2021 was chosen for its ability to facilitate connections and has been backed by excellent support from members and sponsors," says Melissa Dumont, Executive Director of ANAC.
"We continue to draw inspiration from our member companies and other organizations who have risen to the challenges of the past year while driving progress for a strong future. Many of these challenges will be overcome with new and continued collaboration as well as advances in research, such as those that will be shared at this year’s ANCC. There is a lot to be excited about as our industry continues to advance."
